More than 15 years
ago the first HSC-machines were developed by Roeders.
They were produced exclusively for the Roeders tool
shop. Some machines made at that time are still in use.
The most important development was the new Roeders
control. It's data processing time was more than 100
times shorter than those of any other control available
on the market.
Therefore it was the only one which was fast enough to
process the very large quantity of data of complicated
curved CAD-surface for milling in high speed.
Not only the control but also the machines and the drive
controls were at that time and still today are developed
and tuned to each other by Roeders engineers. The
Roeders machines are developed as a whole system. This
is the most important advantage of Roeders HSC-machines
compared with otheres which are only equipped with
controls of other manufacturers. The Roeders control
does not need to be adapted to the machine which would
always mean to compromise. That's why precision and
dynamics of Roeders machines are unsurpassed until
today. |
There is no other
company in the world with such an long experience in
High Speed Cutting. The combination of development and
practical use of the machines in the own tool shop is
unique and gives an outstanding expertise which can
hardly be found elsewhere. The Roeders technology and
developments are based on it. This is a warranty for

Roeders offers 11 models of high speed milling machines
(machining centers). An exceptional rigid cast iron
construction optimized by the finite elements method results
in high stability and vibration free machining. The advanced
